The academic forum of famous teachers and masters was held in the report hall 145 on the first floor in school of mathematics and statistics, Central South University, on April 19th, 2016. The theme of this forum was "numerical solution of partial differential equations". The lecture was hosted by Professor Xiang Shuhuang, the Dean of school of mathematics and statistics. Prof. Vidar Thomée, member of the Royal Academy of Sciences of Sweden, and Prof. Shi Zhongci, member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, gave fabulous talks in this forum.
